Nothing represents the spirit of the times and the resilience of the community as acutely and accurately as the annual London Trans+ Pride. Pride is a protest! It’s always a joy to support and document this ever growing event.
I documented the summer edition of Papa Loko. There was an opening ceremony & Kirtan by Vaun. PopliHerrero debuted their installation, A Totem Reflection. Othon, Wandson Maxx, Black Venus and Darren Black kept everyone warm with their sets.
A small set of my photographs from the post lobbying rally outside the Houses of Parliament.
I attended the rally for ceasefire and free Palestine outside the Houses of Parliament in London.
Today I attended and documented my first march for Palestine in London. Free Palestine, end the occupation!

I delivered production photography for In This Smoking Chaos, playing 15 – 24 September as part of Queen’s Theatre’s Blueprint Festival. ‘Part theatre, part art installation, part cinema – artist and designer Laura Ann Price and her team of collaborators have devised a raw human drama of 31 scenes in 31 minutes. It will be played by two performers, who act, dance and perform spoken word poetry and create live soundscapes.’
Laura’s collaborators are: Raisa Daya, Deputy Stage Manager; Charlie Derrar Director, Dramaturg and Lyricist; Yael Elisheva Performer and Deviser; Bar Groisman Movement Director and Deviser; Tatenda Matsvai Performer, Deviser and Lyricist; Stephen Pemble Lighting Designer and Anna Short Sound Designer.
It was my third time at London Trans Pride, and as ever, it felt important to be there and support our trans siblings. I took some photos. Thank you everyone!
I the midst of a heatwave I documented a sharing event performance of ‘We Too Shall See’ for the Old Diorama Arts Centre. ODAC supported the development of the project through providing the rehearsal space.
‘We Too Shall See’ is a collaborative project between UK-based queer theatre company Milk Presents and Egyptian artists, as part of a British Council / Arts Council funding project, New Conversations Egypt.
The project is a digital collaboration between Jo Tyabji, Milk's associate director, an Egyptian Film Maker Sami Yassin and choreographer Nagham Salah Othman. It’s exploring borders, international borders but also borders within ourselves and identity. With performance from Valerie Ebuwa.
The rooftop space provided by British Land PLC.
Another long awaited and epic Kaos night with the contributions from Parma Ham, Dahc Dermur VIII, Choronzon and Samuel Kerridge.
I took some photos at the Young Queer Clothes Swap event hosted by the Old Diorama Arts Centre. People could socialise while browsing and picking whatever they fancied from the range of donated items. They could also get a haircut.
I documented the opening event for 'Never The Same, Something Else' exhibition, supported and hosted by the Old Diorama Arts Centre.
'Never The Same, Something Else' is an immersive exhibition curated by a group of artists from Central Saint Martins. Their week-long show has been accumulated following a 7-week project led by their studio manager, where the artists researched and responded to artworks by BIPOC Artists from the UAL Art Collection and the British Artist's Film & Video Study Collection through a series of workshops. The students have used the archives to collectively and playfully draw upon a continued history with the works - one which is never the same but something else.
I made a trailer for this new production of a hit West End musical, based on Sue Townsend’s best selling book.
I’m happy to present the final product of the poster image photoshoot for Mark T Cox. Mark will perform at The Sugar Club during Dublin Pride in June.
I documented Hester Chillingworth’s rehearsals at the Old Diorama Arts Centre. They are at an early stage of working on a new piece.
After one month break, Kaos returned to Electrowerkz over the Easter weekend. This edition brought back Ancient Methods, who last time played Kaos in 2018. Other acts of the night were Less than human, Choronzon and Lupus. Enjoy my photo set from the night.
A selection of photos from the April edition of Klub Verboten.
I returned to the Queen’s Theatre’s rehearsal room, this time to document the cast and creatives working on The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13¾ The Musical. Have a look at the selection of images below.
