It was my third time at London Trans Pride, and as ever, it felt important to be there and support our trans siblings. I took some photos. Thank you everyone!
I took some photos at the Young Queer Clothes Swap event hosted by the Old Diorama Arts Centre. People could socialise while browsing and picking whatever they fancied from the range of donated items. They could also get a haircut.
I documented a sharing event for the collaborative project between Rowan James and Deaf Rave. People were invited to test the dance floor designed to conduct vibrations corresponding to all sound and bass levels and as such allowing deaf people to fully experience music without hearing it. The event was hosted and supported by The Old Diorama Arts Centre.
I'm chuffed to be part of the conversation on club photography, queer culture and rave culture that aired on Rinse France last night. Many thanks to Alexis Tenaud from Androgyne and Garde-Robe Records for inviting me and to Kaos for being my muse.
I documented Encounter Bow, a day of free outdoor arts for the local community. Produced by Chisenhale Dance Space and curated by Moi Tran, the free arts programme included contemporary dance, live art, plant soundscapes, audio walks, balloon art, origami sculptures, book readings and more—for all ages.
The projects playfully explored community care, spaces of joy and the importance of sharing and collecting stories.
With participatory experiences from Anna Sulan Masing, Caro Gervay + Lily Ly, Eelyn Lee, Jason Singh, Kimvi, Moi Tran, ShumGhostJohn, Quang Kien Van and Roman Road Trust.
I documented a day of free performances, workshops and encounters encouraging the public to experience the streets of Bow. The free arts programme included contemporary dance, break dance, parkour, live art, selfies, walks, audio tours, dares, and challenges for all ages.
With performances and participatory experiences from Esprit Concrete, GIRL GANG, Harold Offeh, Janine Harrington, Mickael ‘Marso’ Riviere with Mad Dope Krew, Rachel Gomme, Casson and Friends, and The Demolition Project.
